The Laboratory develops linguistic methods of research in various aspects of culture and interaction between cultural traditions. It aims to bring together specialists working in various human sciences; its core staff consists of linguists who are philologists with a broad background.
The laboratory’s tasks include both theoretical research and specific linguo-semiotic and historical philological studies primarily related to Russian and West European cultural traditions.
