Modern linguistics offers a rare opportunity for students to combine passions for both humanities and mathematics. Students who are interested both in research and application of research in solving practical problems, as well as those who love both information technologies and languages, will feel at home in the Linguistics programme at the Faculty of Philology. Students will acquire unique knowledge that can be applied either in the fast developing area of IT linguistic applications or in theoretical scientific research of the world of human languages.
