Shakespeare's text analysis

Shakespeare's text analysis

for Bachelor Students

at the Faculty of Literary Studies (HSE)

Students in Shakespeare’s language seminar will have  taken part in the performance of one of the Shakespeare’s plays. This makes it more accessible to them to compare the language in this play with the language in some other play(s), or research linguistic features of the language of Shakespeare in general. Students thus are given a choice of focusing on comparison of the plays in English, or of the English text with its translation into Russian, or researching the question of Shakespeare’s authorship.
